Speed Reading Comprehension Defined
Many would think that speed reading may result to a conflict in a readers comprehension of the context of a reading material. Efficiency in reading is not affected by speed reading. Some who are slow in reading may have worse reading comprehension than those who are normal readers. Another point of speed reading trains your reading ability to concentrate more in the words that are presented to your eyes. There are a lot of modules offered in the internet for a public trial to test your reading speed, and your comprehension in what you have read. The tests are usually composed of two pages where the first page consists of more or less 800 words, with a start button at the top and a stop button at the bottom of the page. You are required to read it by clicking the start, and ending the reading material with a stop button.
The next page consist a series of questions that all answers can be found on the first page. You are required to select an answer provided and enumerated for your convenience. With every wrong answer, your reading comprehension is calculated and at the end of the page, and you can see both your reading speed rate and also your reading comprehension rating. But of course, they are only the trial version offered, and purchasing software for your computer to get the real thing is up to you. Properly trained and speed reading skills that are highly developed opens a career as a speed reading instructor. There are a lot of readers and online users who are serious with the task of improving their reading ability that they are much willing to study it for a skill development.
